How It Works — From Quote to Delivery in 5 Steps
See exactly what happens at each stage, how long it takes, and what you need to do from upload to delivery.
Step 1: Upload Your File
This step usually takes 1–2 minutes. Get your design into our system.
What you do:
Go to Contract Woodworking and navigate to the "Request a Quote" page.
Upload your DXF or DWG file (one or multiple parts). Or enter measurements manually — even a rough sketch works.
What the system does:
Your file is processed instantly. Geometry is scanned, part count and total area are calculated.
If the file is unreadable (corrupted, saved in unsupported software), you will be notified. You can always email us for manual processing.

Step 2: Check Your Project
This step takes under 30 seconds. Price updates automatically as you choose material and thickness.
What you do:
Pick a material: MDF, MDFLAM, plywood, or solid wood.
Choose thickness (8–30 mm). Price recalculates with every choice.
What the system does:
Based on your material and thickness, we check your project and lead time. Your firm quote — cutting, edge finishing and labour included — follows by email.
Painting, special finishes, shipping — not included yet. You can add those when you send a formal request.

Step 3: Send Your Request
This step takes about 1–2 minutes. Submit your formal quote with any special requirements.
What you do:
After seeing the estimate, click "Request a Quote".
Fill in a form: contact details, quantity, special processes (painting, edge banding, etc.), delivery region.
What the system does:
Your request reaches us instantly. We review the design, check material availability and production capacity.
A firm quote usually arrives within **1 business day**. Complex designs may take 2–3 days.

Step 4: Production Starts
After you approve the quote, production begins within 1–3 business days, depending on material.
What you do:
Review and approve our firm quote (via email, WhatsApp, or dashboard).
If needed (bulk orders), arrange upfront payment. Once production starts, you will receive a tracking number and estimated delivery date.
What the system does:
After approval, your design is loaded into the CNC machine. Cutting, edge finishing (banding, sanding) and quality check happen.
Cutting and edge work usually take **7–14 days** (depending on material type, complexity, and our production queue). Painting or other finishes add another 3–7 days.

Step 5: It's Delivered
Once production is complete, your order is packed and shipped by courier.
What you do:
When ready (you'll get an email and SMS), confirm your shipping choice.
Get a tracking number and follow your package.
What the system does:
Your order is carefully packed with documentation and shipping info.
Shipped to your country via the carrier you chose. Turkey: 2–3 business days. EU/UK: 5–7 days. USA/Canada: 10–14 days. (Times vary with carrier and customs.)
