Climbing Ropes: 16 mm (0.6 in) diameter UV‑protected, fire‑retardant polyamide (nylon) rope cable. Each rope is composed of six strands wrapped around a solid core reinforced with 24 steel wires per strand (total 144 steel reinforcement wires). Both ends feature a connection ring attached to a finished aluminum sleeve and covered with a galvanized steel wear bar. Edge ropes contain a solid core made of steel cables providing an additional 168 steel reinforcement wires. Binding Ball: A single compressed aluminum ball rated at 150,000 lb (667 kN) prevents movement of the joint and early wear of the cable. Carrier Construction: Minimum 114 mm (4.5 in) diameter steel tubes with at least 2 mm (0.1 in) wall thickness, conforming to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards. Tubes are cold‑formed, welded by high‑frequency welding, and produced within standard tolerances. The tubes are sandblasted and coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder finish. Electrostatic Powder Coating Process: All metal components are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for optimal powder adhesion. After cleaning, components are sprayed with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder, then cured in a furnace at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. Subsequently, parts undergo a 10‑minute degreasing bath at 70 °C (5 % concentration) followed by a 15‑minute pickling bath at 50 °C (1 % concentration), rinsing, drying, and a final cure at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. All welds are fully painted to prevent corrosion.
