The unique and striking MOHAIR carpet series is produced using a traditional method that was widely employed by Central Asian nomads throughout history. Made by washing the glossy hairs of Angora goats and hand-spinning them, the MOHAIR series is the result of highly painstaking craftsmanship. After the twisting process, the carpets woven on a manual loom are washed again following a special brushing treatment. This process requires a great deal of time and patience, and the resulting tufted carpet is dazzling in its authenticity.
