Material: The Biscuit Crib is made from first‑grade solid pine with a moisture content of 6‑8 %, balanced‑dried for durability and long life. No toxic finishes, coatings, or varnishes are used that could harm an infant’s health. Design: The crib features a minimalist Scandinavian style that is natural and functional, showcasing the pine’s distinctive wood texture and its natural light color. Wide drawers under the crib provide storage and help keep the room organized. Drawer pulls are available in timeless wicker, wood, or playful cloud options, matching the Souffle Room Set, Souffle Wardrobe, and Souffle Dresser. As the child grows, the front rail can be removed to create a wider, more open look, making the piece adaptable from infancy to childhood. The Montessori‑style crib encourages independence and exploration. The bed base sits low to the floor for easy entry; although it appears to sit directly on the floor, it rests on 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high panels that provide slight elevation for thermal insulation. The recommended internal mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); you can pair it with our double‑sided Little Visco mattress for optimal height and comfort. The door orientation can be chosen as right‑hand, left‑hand, or centered when viewed from the hallway. Why solid wood? Because solid construction is suited for daily use and long‑term investment, offering a quality sleep environment. The breathable nature of natural wood helps regulate body temperature during sleep, promoting healthier, more comfortable rest. The wood grain and natural texture enhance the room’s ambience. Craftsmanship: The crib is carefully crafted by skilled artisans, free of sharp edges and designed with child safety in mind, featuring a smooth surface with no splinter risk. It is portable and easy to assemble, and can be repeatedly disassembled and reassembled as needed. Return and warranty: A 2‑year free exchange or return guarantee applies for any material or workmanship defects. Delivery time: After ordering, delivery takes 10 to a maximum of 15 business days. For locations outside Izmir, we do not use cargo shipping to ensure safe, damage‑free delivery. We provide disassembled delivery with optional assembly upon customer request. An additional service fee applies outside the Aegean and Marmara regions; the charge will be communicated after order based on address. Care: Solid pine is easy to maintain. Regular dusting and occasional wiping with a damp cloth prolong durability. Once a year—or as needed—apply mineral or plant‑based oil to preserve moisture balance and surface. Dimensions: The dimensions you select correspond to the mattress/internal mattress size that will fit inside the crib. The final crib size includes a 4 cm (1.6 in) allowance on each side. For the "toddler bed" option, the internal mattress must be 10 cm (3.9 in) smaller in length and width than the main upper mattress. Rail height is 55 cm (21.7 in). Drawer height is 20 cm (7.9 in). Foot height is 10 cm (3.9 in).
