MATERIAL: The Little Crib is made from first‑grade solid pine that has been balanced‑dry to a moisture content of 6‑8 %, providing long durability. No varnish, lacquer, or coating containing toxic chemicals is used, so the finish is completely safe for babies. DESIGN: The crib features a minimalist Scandinavian style, leaving the natural texture and light color of pine untouched. Functionality is central—during the early years the legs can be removed so the crib sits directly on the floor for zero‑height Montessori use. After the child turns three, the legs can be re‑installed for an elevated position. Later, the headboard, footboard, and side rails can remain while the front rails are removed, converting the piece into an adult‑size bed. The low base makes it easy for a child to get in and out, and a 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high panel underneath supports an inner mattress placed at floor level, providing insulation and warmth. The recommended inner‑mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); a double‑sided Little Visco mattress can be added for proper height and comfort. The door entry can be set to right‑hand, left‑hand, or center when viewed from the front. WHY SOLID WOOD? Solid pine is breathable, helping regulate body temperature during sleep, and offers a sturdy, long‑term solution. The natural grain enhances the room’s atmosphere and creates a comforting feel. CRAFTSMANSHIP: The wood is carefully shaped by skilled hands, free of sharp edges or splinters. The surface is sanded smooth to eliminate any splinter hazards. The crib is portable and can be assembled and disassembled repeatedly. RETURN AND WARRANTY: A two‑year free replacement or return guarantee covers any material or workmanship defects. DELIVERY: Delivery takes 10–15 business days after the order is placed. For locations outside Izmir, we provide free delivery of the dismantled item and optional installation on request. An additional service fee applies outside the Aegean and Marmara regions and will be communicated after the order. MAINTENANCE: Solid pine requires simple care. Dust the crib regularly and wipe with a damp cloth when needed. To preserve the wood’s moisture balance, apply a mineral or plant‑based oil once a year or as needed. The wood is sustainably sourced. DIMENSIONS: The size you select corresponds to the mattress/inner‑mattress dimensions. The finished crib dimensions include a 5 cm (2 in) allowance on each side. Rail height: 35 cm (13.8 in).
