Material: The Sebastian Montessori crib is made from first‑grade solid pine wood that has been balanced‑dried to a moisture content of 6‑8 %, ensuring durability and a long lifespan. The pine is finished with a silk‑mat lacquer paint—no varnish, coating, or any toxic chemicals are used. Design: The crib features a Scandinavian‑style minimal, natural, and functional design that retains the pine’s unique grain and light color. As your child grows, the front rails can be removed to create a wider, more open look, allowing the piece to adapt from infancy through teenage years. The low‑profile bed base encourages independence and exploration; although it appears to sit directly on the floor, it includes inner‑mattress panels set on a 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high base for insulation. The recommended inner‑mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); Little Visco double‑sided mattress slats can be added for the correct height and comfort. The door orientation can be chosen as right, left, or center when viewed from the opposite side.
