As the child grows, the front rail can be removed to create a wider, more open space, turning the crib into a versatile bedroom piece. MONTESSORI FEATURES: The crib is low to the ground with a modest height, encouraging independence and easy entry. Although it appears to sit directly on the floor, a 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high panel supports an internal mattress, providing insulation and keeping the child away from cold surfaces. The recommended mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); a Little Visco double‑sided mattress can be added for optimal comfort.
