As the child grows, the front rails can be removed to create a larger, more open space, making the piece adaptable from infancy through the teen years. Spacious drawers beneath the crib provide storage, helping keep the room organized. Drawer pulls are available in timeless wicker, wood, or playful cloud‑shaped handles, matching the Soufflé Room Set, wardrobe, and dresser. Montessori: This version is designed to encourage independence and exploration. The mattress platform sits low to the floor, and the crib height allows easy access. Although the crib appears to sit directly on the floor, it rests on 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high panels that support an internal mattress, providing insulation and keeping the child warm. The recommended internal mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); you can complement it with our Little Visco double‑sided mattress for optimal height and comfort. Custom visco mattresses are available in the Textile section of our website. The door opening can be configured to the right, left, or center when viewed from the entrance.
