The pine is finished with a silk‑mat, low‑gloss lacquer that contains no toxic chemicals, ensuring a safe environment for babies. Design: Featuring a Scandinavian‑inspired minimalist design, the natural grain and light colour of the pine are retained. As the child grows, the front rails can be removed to create a larger, more open sleeping area, turning the crib into a versatile bedroom piece. The crib’s low base and appropriate height encourage independence and easy access. Although the crib appears to sit directly on the floor, an internal mattress rests on panels positioned 4 cm (1.6 in) above the floor, providing insulation and a comfortable sleeping temperature.
