As your child grows, the front guardrails can be removed to create a larger, more open sleeping area, turning the piece into versatile bedroom furniture. The mattress platform sits low to the floor, with a 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high panel beneath that holds the inner mattress, offering insulation and keeping the child warm. An inner mattress height of up to 20 cm (7.9 in) is recommended; compatible double‑sided mattresses can be added for optimal comfort. Why solid‑wood?
