A silk‑matte lacquer finish is applied to the premium pine—no varnish, coating, or polish containing toxic chemicals is used, ensuring the crib is safe for babies. Design: The Sebastian crib features a minimalist Scandinavian style that is natural and functional. The pine retains its unique wood texture and light color for a natural look. As your child grows, you can remove the front railings to create a wider, more spacious sleeping area suitable for both childhood and teenage years, turning the crib into a versatile bedroom piece. Montessori Concept: The bed base sits low to the floor, allowing easy access for the child. Although the crib appears to sit directly on the floor, it rests on internal panels that are 4 cm (1.6 in) high, providing insulation and preventing the child from feeling cold from the floor. The recommended internal mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); you can pair it with our Little Visco double‑sided mattress pads for the perfect height and comfort. The door can be positioned on the left, right, or center as viewed from the outside. Why Solid Wood?
