Material: The Sebastian Montessori crib is made from first‑grade solid pine that has been balanced‑dried to a moisture content of 6‑8 %, providing long durability. The pine is finished with a silk‑matte lacquer. No toxic varnishes, coatings, or finishes that could harm a baby are used. Design: The crib features a minimalist Scandinavian style with a natural, functional look. The pine’s distinctive grain and light colour are left untouched. As the child grows, the front rail can be removed to create a wider, more open space, turning the crib into a versatile bedroom piece. The mattress platform is lowered for easy access and includes a hidden 4 cm (1.6 in) panel that supports an internal mattress, providing thermal insulation without a cold floor. The recommended internal mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); double‑sided mattresses can be added for optimal comfort. The door opening can be configured to face right, left, or centre.
