It is durable and long‑lasting, and a silk‑mat lake paint is applied to the premium pine. No polish, coating, or varnish containing toxic chemicals that could harm a baby’s health is used. Design: The crib features a minimalist Scandinavian style that is natural and functional. The pine retains its unique grain and light color, which we have kept true to its natural tone. As your child grows, the front rails can be removed to create a wider, more open space, turning the piece into a versatile and personalized bedroom item. The Montessori Snowy crib is designed to encourage independence and exploration. The bed platform sits low to the floor, and the height is suitable for a child to get in and out easily. Although the crib appears to sit directly on the floor, it is actually mounted on panels that are 4 cm (1.6 in) high, providing insulation and preventing the child from feeling cold. The recommended maximum mattress height is 20 cm (7.9 in). The door opening can be positioned on the left, right, or center according to your preference.
