The Wood Original Low Bunk Bed is a full length bunk bed but offers a lower height overall than a standard bunk. The bed sits lower to the ground and there less space between the bunks. With its lower height, this low bunk bed is a perfect transition bed from cot to 'big bed', and is a great choice for smaller rooms. The ladder sits on the left of the bed and offers wide, flat steps making it easy and safer for children to access the top bunk. As with all beds, this low bunk bed can be converted into other bed options as your child grows and their needs change. Crafted from white-oiled solid oak and moulded birch veneered in oak, the natural tones of this wood offer a beautiful natural look to your children's bedroom. Recommended maximum mattress thickness for this bunk bed is 15cm (5.9 in), the Wood Original Mattress 90 x 200cm (35.4 x 78.7 in) is the perfect choice. Upper bunk beds are not suitable for children under 6 years due to the risk of injury from falls.
