Metal tube profile lengths will be fabricated to project tolerances of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Prior to painting, surfaces will be cleaned of oil, dirt, and rust, then a phosphating process will create porosity for optimal paint adhesion. After fabrication, the metal parts will receive a polyester‑based electrostatic paint and be cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Wood Features: The wood used will be first‑grade yellow pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Acceptable knots are limited to four per meter, each not exceeding one‑quarter of the piece’s width. No rot, decay, split, or fallen knots will be present. Ring cracks are prohibited; hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) are permissible within tolerance. Pressure‑treated wood may exhibit head‑ or side‑cracks within specification limits. Resin pockets longer than 10 cm (3.9 in) will not be present. No sap‑dripping, internal cavities, insect holes, or decay pits. Manufacturing defects are excluded; deviations are limited to the stated tolerances. Bending will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length, crushing not more than 1/100 of the width, twisting not more than 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter, and edge bending between 1/50 and 1/100 of the length. All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Metal Supports: The support legs will be made from electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles measuring at least 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in). Seating Units: Four seating units, each 22 cm (8.7 in) wide, 100 cm (39.4 in) long, and 45 cm (17.7 in) high. The seating supports are fabricated from 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles. Each seating unit is mounted with eight galvanized screws to 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden slat carriers.
