Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood material must meet the following criteria: up to four solid knots per meter, total knot width not exceeding one‑quarter of the member width; no rot, decay, partially split or fallen knots; no ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may be present; pressure‑treated specifications may allow head and longitudinal cracks within tolerance limits; resin pockets – at most one per meter, not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in); no dripping or pulling resin, no inner bark, no decay cavities, no insect holes; manufacturing defects are not permitted, only deviations within specified tolerances. Bending will not exceed 1/50 of the member length; impact will not exceed 1/100 of the member width; twisting will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter; longitudinal deflection tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth and painted with white lacquer. Main Supports: Support legs will be made from six 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) pine members shaped with diamond‑tipped special knives. The height of the support legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: The roof framing of the gazebo will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood members. Two corners of each member will be milled to shape. The top of the members will be fastened with lap siding or fiber material. Zinc‑coated nails with wide heads will attach membranes to the lap siding, and the same nails will secure a shingle roofing material known as American cedar shingle. On the eave board, minimum 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) wood members cut with diamond‑tipped knives will be fastened to the roof members with galvanized screws. The roof connection frame will be assembled with twelve 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) members, each cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws or polymer adhesive. Galvanized wood screws will be used for the main support‑to‑roof connections. Anchoring: Under each support leg, a 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded to a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate will be drilled with two anchor holes. Each plate will receive three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes. Anchors will be bolted to the support legs and attached to the ground with steel dowels, preventing wood contact with water and securing the legs. Gazebo anchors will be fabricated by welding flanges to at least two sides of a 2.5 mm (0.1 in) steel post. Six special screws will be installed per leg for the post connection, and two doweled screws per leg for the ground connection.
