Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood material shall meet the following criteria: knots; each meter may contain up to four solid knots. The total knot diameter will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rot, defects, partially fused, or fallen knots. Cracks: no ring cracks. Microscopic cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated environment specifications allow head and length cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets: length shall not exceed 10 cm (3.9 in) per meter, with at most one per meter. No dripping or pulling resin. No inner shell, rot cavities, insect holes. No manufacturing defects; only tolerances may vary. Deflection: shall not exceed 1/50 of the member length. Impact marks shall not exceed 1/100 of the member width. Twist: shall not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter length. Blade deflection: tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. Sanding: all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Wood will be painted with white lacquer paint. Main Supports: Support legs will be made from four pieces of pine timber, each at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped special blades and given a motif. Support leg height will be 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: The gazebo’s roof framing members will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood. Two corners of each member will be routed to shape. The top of the members will be fastened with laminated wood or fiber material. On the laminate, zinc‑coated membranes will be mounted with wide‑head special nails. Then the roof will be covered with American cedar‑shingle roofing material using wide‑head special nails. On the fascia board, at least 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) wood pieces cut with diamond‑tipped special blades and given a motif will be attached to the roof members with galvanized screws. The roof connection framework will be assembled with eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) members whose ends are cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped blades. All fixed connections will be made with stainless‑steel wood screws or polymer adhesive. Galvanized wood screws will be used for the main support to roof connections. Anchoring: Under each support leg a 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded with a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate; two anchor holes will be drilled in a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes will be drilled in each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors will be mounted to the support legs with screws and to the ground with steel dowels. This prevents wood contact with water and secures the support legs to the ground. Gazebo anchors will be fabricated by welding flanged plates (minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thick) around at least two sides of the vertical posts. Six special screws will be installed on each leg for connection to the vertical posts, and two dowel screws per leg for ground attachment. All metal parts will be painted with polyester‑based powder coating baked in a furnace.
