Product Technical Specifications Seating Area: 400 x 400 cm (157 x 157 in) Roof Area: 470 x 470 cm (185 x 185 in) Height: 330 cm (130 in) Wood Characteristics: The wood material used for manufacturing will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood dimensions will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood lengths with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood qualities include: - Knots: Each metre may contain up to four solid knots. The total width of knots will not exceed one‑quarter of the overall piece width. No rotten, defective, partially fused, or missing knots are allowed. - Cracks: No ring cracks. Micro‑cracks up to 1‑2 mm (0.1 in) are acceptable. Pressure‑treated conditions may allow head and foot cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: No more than one pocket per metre, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or pulling resin, no inner bark, no rot cavities, and no insect holes. - Manufacturing defects are excluded; only the stated tolerances apply. - Bending: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length. - Impact: Impact shall not exceed 1/100 of the member width. - Twist: Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per metre of length. - Deflection of the blade: Tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth to remove splinters. Main Support Structure: Support legs will be made from eight pieces of pine lumber, each at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped special knives and given a decorative motif. The support legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in) high. Roof: The gazebo's roof framework will be fabricated from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wooden beams. Two corners of each beam will be routed to shape them. The beams will be fastened with wood‑clad siding or fiber material, and then covered with tar‑impregnated membranes secured with wide‑head special nails. The roof will be finished with American cedar shingle (known as “shingle”) installed with the same wide‑head nails. The eave board will use 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) wooden laths, also cut with diamond‑tipped knives, attached to the roof beams with galvanized wood screws. For the roof connection, eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) laths, each cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, will form a roof‑to‑support frame, one end attached to the main support and the other to the eave board. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws. Galvanized wood screws will be used for the connections between the main support and the roof. Pigeon Loft: The loft height is 450 mm (17.7 in). The roof laths for the loft will be 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) wood. Additionally, 30 × 15 mm (1.2 x 0.6 in) wooden slats will be placed between the upper and lower 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) laths at 30 mm (1.2 in) intervals. The laths will be secured with shiplap wood and covered with tar‑impregnated membranes fastened with wide‑head nails, then finished with the same shingle roofing material. The eave board for the loft will use 90 × 20 mm (3.5 x 0.8 in) wooden pieces shaped with a diamond‑tipped specialty knife. Upper Panels: The upper railings are 40 cm (15.7 in) wide. Railing frames are made of 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) wood that has been sanded on all sides and edged with a decorative pattern using special diamond‑tipped knives. They are attached to the main support with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate decorative pieces, sized 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in), are also cut with diamond‑tipped knives and fastened with galvanized screws. Lower Panels (Railings): The lower railings are 75 cm (29.5 in) high and constructed similarly to the upper railings—50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) sanded wood with decorative edges, mounted to the main support with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate decorative pieces (40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in)) are installed with galvanized screws and clear specialty wood glue. Seating Unit: The seating unit consists of eight wooden L‑shaped legs, each at least 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in). One end of each leg is attached to the main support, the other end to the seating frame. Four decorative wooden slats per side, shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, are fastened with galvanized screws. Anchoring: Flanges of 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) will be welded to a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, which will be drilled with two anchor holes. Additional plates of 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) will receive three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes each. Anchors will be installed with screws beneath the support legs and connected to the ground with steel dowels. This prevents water contact with the wood and secures the support legs. Gazebo anchors will be welded to flanges at least 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thick on two sides. Six specialty screws will be placed on each leg for the anchor connection, and two dowel screws per leg for the ground connection. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester finish.
