Product Technical Specifications Seating Area: 500 x 500 cm (197 x 197 in) Roof Area: 570 x 570 cm (224 x 224 in) Height: 330 cm (130 in) Wood Characteristics: The wood material used for manufacturing will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut to a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions to a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood qualities include: - Knots: Each meter may contain up to four sound knots. The total diameter of knots will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rot, split, partially fused, or missing knots are allowed. - Cracks: No ring cracks are permitted. Fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated timber may show head and length cracks within tolerances. - Resin pockets: Up to one pocket per meter, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or pulling resin, inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes are allowed. - Manufacturing defects are not accepted; only the stated tolerances may apply. - Deflection: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length. Impact deformation will not exceed 1/100 of the member width. - Twist: For each meter of length, twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in). - Bending tolerance: Between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Main Supports: Eight support legs will be made from 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) pine lumber, cut with diamond‑tipped special knives and given a motif. The support legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in) high. Roof: The roof frame will be constructed from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) lumber. Two corners of each beam will be routed for shaping. The top of the beams will be covered with wooden veneer or fiber material and fastened with screws. Zinc‑coated nails will attach membranes, and the roof will be finished with American cedar shingle. A 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) decorative wooden ridge board will be mounted with galvanized screws. The roof connection will use eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) beams, each cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, forming a roof truss attached to the main supports and ridge board. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws; the main support‑to‑roof connections will use special galvanized wood screws. Pigeon Loft: The loft height is 450 mm (17.7 in), with roof beams made from 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) lumber. Additional 30 × 15 mm (1.2 x 0.6 in) spacers will be placed between 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) upper and lower boards at 30 mm (1.2 in) intervals. The beams will be fastened with slatted wooden boards, zinc‑coated nails, and shingle roofing. The eave board will use 90 × 20 mm (3.5 x 0.8 in) wood shaped with a diamond‑tipped motif knife. Upper Panels: Upper guardrails are 40 cm (15.7 in) wide. Guardrail frames are made from 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) lumber, sanded on all sides and edged with diamond‑tipped knives. They are mounted to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate decorative pieces are 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in), also cut with diamond‑tipped knives, and attached with galvanized screws. Lower Panels (Guardrails): Lower guardrail height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Frames are the same 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) sanded lumber, attached to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate decorative pieces are 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in), installed with galvanized screws and transparent wood adhesive. Seating Unit: The seating unit consists of eight wooden legs measuring at least 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in), each leg attached to the support column and to the seating frame. Four wooden slats per side, shaped with diamond‑tipped motif knives, will be fastened with galvanized screws. Anchoring: A 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) steel flange will be welded onto each support leg, with a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate drilled for two anchor bolts. Each plate will have three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes. Anchors will be bolted to the support legs and to the ground with steel dowels, preventing wood contact with water and securing the legs. Flanges will be welded on at least two sides with a minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) weld bead. Each leg will receive six special screws for the vertical connection and two dowel screws for grounding. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester finish.
