When measured in the balanced position, the seat height above ground must not exceed 700 mm (27.6 in). • Footrests may be added as required, but they must be designed to prevent foot entrapment. • The seesaw seats will be manufactured from polyethylene with a minimum weight of 2 kg (4.4 lb). Electrostatic Powder Coating and Shot Blasting • All metal components will undergo shot blasting according to the standards below before coating to clean the surface (the blasting process improves paint adhesion and removes rust, oil, weld spatter, and other contaminants by striking the surface with steel particles). • After washing and drying in a phosphate bath, the blasted parts will be coated with a polyester‑based powder paint that prevents solar heating of the metal, then cured in a furnace at 200–220 °C for 10 minutes. Fasteners, Nuts, and Washers • All bolts, washers, and nuts used in the playground system will be galvanized. No protruding fastener heads will be present on any part of the playground set.
