When measured in the balanced position, the seat height from the ground must not exceed 700 mm (27.6 in). • Foot rests can be provided according to the design, but they must be designed to avoid foot pinching. • The seesaw seats will be manufactured from polyethylene material with a minimum weight of 2 kg (4.4 lb). Electrostatic Powder Coating and Sandblasting • All metal components will undergo sandblasting according to the standards listed below before painting (sandblasting increases paint adhesion to the metal surface and eliminates unwanted defects such as rust, oil, and weld spatter by striking steel particles onto the surface). • After washing and drying the sandblasted material in a phosphate bath, it will be coated with a polyester‑based powder paint that prevents the metal from heating by sunlight, then baked in a furnace at 200–220 °C for 10 minutes to complete the painting process. Fasteners, Nuts and Bolts • Screws, bolts, and nuts used in the playground system will be galvanized. No protruding nuts or bolts will be present anywhere in the play set.
