Product Features Seating Area: 250 x 100 cm (98.4 x 39.4 in) h:50 Safety Area: 400 x 200 cm (157 x 78.7 in) The vertical (axial) seesaw will be designed so that the maximum free‑fall height is 1250 mm (49.2 in). The seat’s maximum incline will be 20°. When measured in the balanced position, the seat height above the ground must not exceed 700 mm (27.6 in). Footrests may be provided as part of the design, but they must be shaped to prevent foot entrapment. The seesaw seats will be manufactured from rubber material with a minimum weight of 2 kg (4.4 lb). All metal components will undergo sandblasting in accordance with the standards listed below to clean the surface before painting. (Sandblasting increases paint adhesion to metal by propelling steel particles onto the surface, completely removing unwanted defects such as rust, oil, and weld spatter.) After sandblasting, the material will be washed and dried in a phosphate bath, then coated with a polyester‑based powder paint in an electrostatic system that prevents solar heating of the metal. The coating will be cured in a furnace at 200–220 °C for 10 minutes. All bolts, pins, and nuts used in the play system will be galvanized. No protruding bolts or nuts will be present anywhere on the play set.
