Picnic Table (Wooden Top) 145(L)x162.5(W)x75(H) Seating Area: 145 x 162.5 cm (57.1 x 64 in) Height: 78 cm (30.7 in) • Metal Features: All metal components for manufacturing will be painted by furnace curing with a polyester‑based powder coating. Metal tube profile dimensions will be fabricated to a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in) according to the project. To remove oil, dirt, and rust and to promote good paint adhesion, the metal parts will be prepared with a phosphate coating that creates microscopic pores. After fabrication, the metal components will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a furnace at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. • Wood Features: The wood material used will be first‑grade yellow pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut to a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions to a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in) as required by the project. Desired wood characteristics include: knots – up to four solid knots per meter, each knot diameter not exceeding one‑quarter of the total piece width; no rotten, defective, partially split, or fallen knots. No ring cracks. Microscopic cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑impregnation may cause head‑ and body‑type cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets: no longer than 10 cm (3.9 in) per meter, maximum one per meter; no leaking or pulling resin. No inner bark, rot cavities, insect holes, or manufacturing defects; only allowable tolerances. Bend: deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact: impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. Twist: no more than 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Bow: deflection between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. Sanding: all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. • Metal Supports: Support legs will be fabricated from metal profile painted by electrostatic powder coating, minimum size 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in). • Seating Units: Two opposing seating units; seating width 40 cm (15.7 in), length 145 cm (57.1 in), seat height 41 cm (16.1 in). Seating supports will be made from 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in) electrostatically powder‑coated metal profile. The seating unit will be mounted with six galvanized screws to 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden slat carriers attached to the metal profile. • Table: The table top measures 74 × 145 cm (29.1 x 57.1 in) and will be fabricated from 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden slats using pressure‑impregnated, diamond‑tipped special blades for a patterned finish. Table legs are 70 cm (27.6 in) high, made from 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in) electrostatically powder‑coated metal profile.
