Picnic Table (Metal Legs) 170(L) x 170(W) x 75(H) Seating Area: 170 x 170 cm (66.9 x 66.9 in) Height: 75 cm (29.5 in) Metal Features: All metal components for manufacturing will be painted by baking with a polyester‑based powder coating. Metal tube profile lengths will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in) as appropriate for the project. To remove oil, dirt, and rust that could hinder painting, the metal parts will be prepared with a phosphating process that creates pores to ensure good paint adhesion. After fabrication, the metal components will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic paint and then baked in a furnace at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes to complete the paint cure. Wood Features: The wood material used will be first‑grade yellow pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in) and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood must meet the following criteria: knots – each piece may contain up to four solid knots, none exceeding one‑quarter of the total width; no rot, defects, or split knots. Cracks – no ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) are permissible within tolerance. Pressure‑treated specifications may allow approved end‑grain and side cracks within tolerance. Resin pockets – no longer than 10 cm (3.9 in), maximum one per piece; no leaking or pulling resin, no internal bark, rot cavities, or insect holes. Manufacturing defects are not permitted; only deviations within specified tolerances are allowed. Bend – may not exceed 1/50 of the part length. Impact – may not exceed 1/100 of the part width. Twist – may not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Compression – tolerance between 1/50 and 1/100 of the part length. All visible surfaces will be sanded clean of splinters. Metal Supports: Support legs will be fabricated from electrostatically powder‑coated metal profile measuring at least 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in). Seat Units: Four seat units, each 22 cm (8.7 in) wide, 100 cm (39.4 in) long, and 45 cm (17.7 in) high. Seat support members will be made from electrostatically powder‑coated metal profile (40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in)). Each seat will be mounted with eight galvanized screws to 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden dowel carriers on the metal profiles. Table: The table measures 100 × 100 cm (39.4 x 39.4 in) and is fabricated from 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden slats treated with pressure‑impregnation and stamped with a diamond‑point motif. Table legs are 75 cm (29.5 in) high and made from electrostatically powder‑coated metal profile (40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in)).
