Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall wood dimensions will be manufactured with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood qualities include: Knots: Each meter may contain up to four solid knots. The total knot diameter will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rotten, split, partially fused, or fallen knots are permitted. Cracks: No ring cracks. Microscopic cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated specifications may allow head and longitudinal cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets: No more than one pocket per meter, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No leaking or pulling resin, no inner shell, no rot cavities, and no insect holes. Manufacturing defects are not allowed; only deviations within the specified tolerances are acceptable. Bending: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length. Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the member width. Twist: For each meter, twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in). Compression deflection: Tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of member length. Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Main Supports: Support legs will be made from six pieces of pine lumber, each at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped special knives and bearing a decorative motif. The height of the support legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: The roof framing of the gazebo will be fabricated from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood beams. Two corners of each beam will be routed to shape. The top of the beams will be fastened with wood‑pressed laminate or fiber material. Zinc‑coated membranes will be mounted with wide‑head special nails, followed by shingle roofing (American cedar shingles). The eave board will use 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) wooden battens, also milled with diamond‑tipped knives, attached to the roof beams with galvanized wood screws. Roof connection will consist of eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) beams, each cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, forming a roof truss that connects the main support to the eave board. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws. Galvanized wood screws will be used for the main support‑to‑roof connections. Lower Panels (Railings): The lower railing height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in), sanded on all sides and crafted from wood cut with special diamond‑tipped knives and edge‑finished. Frames will be mounted to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs are made from 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) wood pieces cut with diamond‑tipped knives and will be glued with clear special wood adhesive and fastened with galvanized screws. Upper Panels: The upper railing width is 35 cm (13.8 in). Upper railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in), sanded on all sides and made from wood cut with special diamond‑tipped knives. They will be attached to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs are 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) wood pieces, also fastened with galvanized screws. Seating Unit: The seating unit consists of six wooden legs (minimum 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in)), each attached at one end to the main support and at the other end to the seat beam. Each side will have four wooden seat beams shaped with diamond‑tipped decorative knives and mounted with galvanized screws. Anchoring: A 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded to the bottom of each support leg, with a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate welded on top. Two anchor holes will be drilled into a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes will be drilled into each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors will be bolted to the support legs and to the ground using steel dowels. This prevents water contact with the wood and secures the support legs to the ground. Gazebo anchors will be welded to at least two sides of a minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thick flange. Six special screws will be placed on each leg for connection to the vertical members, and two dowel screws per leg for ground attachment. All metal components will be powder‑coated with polyester‑based paint and baked.
