Wood sections will be machined with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and dimensions with a tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood material must meet the following criteria: knots – each meter may contain up to four sound knots, with the total knot diameter not exceeding one‑quarter of the piece width; no rot, defect, partially fused or fallen knots; no ring cracks; micro‑cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) are allowed; pressure‑treated cracks may be present within specification limits. Manufacturing defects are not permitted, only deviations within the defined tolerances. Deflection shall not exceed 1/50 of the member length; impact marks shall not exceed 1/100 of the member width. Twist shall not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter length. Edge bending tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. All visible surfaces will be sanded to remove splinters. Main Supports: Six support legs will be made from 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) pine lumber, cut with diamond‑tipped special knives. The support legs are 240 cm (94.5 in) high. Roof Structure: The gazebo roof’s support slats are made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood, milled at two corners and fitted with wood‑pressed lap siding or fiber material and fastened with screws. Zinc‑coated nails with wide heads will secure the lap siding, followed by American cedar‑shingles installed with the same nails. The eave board will receive 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) wooden slats, engraved with diamond‑tipped knives and attached to the roof slats with galvanized screws. The roof connection frame is built with eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) slats, each end cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, connecting the main supports to the eave board. All fixed connections use stainless‑steel wood screws; galvanized wood screws are used for the main‑support‑to‑roof joints. Upper Panels: The upper railings are 35 cm (13.8 in) high. Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in), sanded on all sides and crafted from wood edged with diamond‑tipped knives. They are attached to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs are made from 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) wood and fastened to the railing frames with galvanized screws. Lower Panels (Railing): The lower railing height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in), sanded on all sides and made from wood edged with diamond‑tipped knives, attached with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs of 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) wood, shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, are installed with galvanized screws and a clear specialty wood glue. Seating Unit: The seating unit consists of eight 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden legs, each leg attached from a support to the seating slat, with four diamond‑tipped, motif‑cut wooden slat pieces per side, fastened with galvanized screws. Anchoring: A flange (18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in)) will be welded onto the support leg base, a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate will be drilled for two bolts or anchor holes, and each plate will receive three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes. Anchors are bolted to the supports and connected to the ground with steel dowels, preventing water contact with the wood and securing the legs. Gazebo anchors use minimum‑thickness (2.5 mm (0.1 in)) flanges welded on both sides of the vertical posts. Six specialty screws will be inserted per leg for the post connection, and two dowelled screws per leg for the ground connection. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester finish.
