All cuts are made with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Each meter may contain up to four solid knots, with the total knot diameter not exceeding one‑quarter of the board width. No rot, defective, partially fused, or fallen knots are allowed. No ring cracks are permitted; hairline cracks up to 1‑2 mm (0.1 in) may be present, as well as pressure‑treated head and foot cracks within tolerance. Resin pockets are limited to one per meter and do not exceed 10 cm (3.9 in) in length; no dripping or pulling resin, inner bark, decay cavities, or insect holes are allowed. Manufacturing defects are excluded; only the specified tolerances apply. Deflection is limited to 1/50 of the member length, impact marks to 1/100 of the width, twist to 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter, and bow to between 1/50 and 1/100 of the length. All visible surfaces are sanded smooth. Main Supports Six support posts are made from 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) pine lumber, cut with diamond‑tipped knives and featuring decorative motifs. Each post is 240 cm (94.5 in) tall. Roof Structure Roof joists are 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) timber, shaped by milling two corners. The joists are fastened with wood screws to either wooden lap‑board or fiber material, then covered with zinc‑coated nails and American cedar shingle. Additional decorative 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) joists are attached with galvanized wood screws. All fixed connections use stainless‑steel wood screws, and the main support‑to‑roof connections use special galvanized wood screws. Lower Panels (Railing) The lower railing is 75 cm (29.5 in) high. Railing frames are made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) and 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) timber, all edges sanded, and edges beveled with diamond‑tipped knives. Frames are mounted to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Decorative intermediate pieces are 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in), also made from specially cut timber and attached with galvanized screws. The gate uses two 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) pine pieces. Seating Unit The seating unit consists of nine 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in) L‑shaped wooden legs, each attached at one end to the support and at the other to a seating rail with four wooden rails using special galvanized screws. On each L‑leg are twelve 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in) rails 300 cm (118 in) long and eight 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in) rails 100 cm (39.4 in) long, all shaped with diamond‑tipped knives and mounted with galvanized screws. Anchoring A flange (18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in)) is welded to the underside of each support post, with two anchor holes (15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in)) drilled and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes per plate. Anchors are bolted to the supports and to the ground using steel dowels, preventing water contact and ensuring a secure base. Gazebo anchors are welded on at least two sides of the flange with a minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) weld bead. Each post receives six specialized screws for the vertical connection and two dowelled screws for the ground connection. All metal components are powder‑coated with polyester‑based paint in a furnace. Pressure Treatment All wooden components are pressure‑treated for enhanced durability and resistance to weather.
