It is a semi‑permeable, softening polymer that combines low cost with high resistance, making it a favorite in industry. Its classification is based on density and chemical properties. Mechanical characteristics, molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type determine its performance. Although properties vary by grade, the material generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to produce slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used to color polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The wall thickness of products exposed to pressure and friction must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in), while items used only as barriers or shade structures can be a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in). Material distribution should be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Product wall thicknesses and dimensional tolerances are ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating Process All metal components are first cleaned by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine bead material is then sprayed with pressurized air to open additional pores and further clean the metal surface. After fabrication, the metal parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and baked in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the parts undergo a 10‑minute dip in a 70 °C, 5 % concentration degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute immersion in a 50 °C, 1 % concentration iron‑removal bath. After rinsing and drying, the components receive a final polyester‑based electrostatic powder coat and are cured in a 180–200 °C furnace for 20–30 minutes. All welds are sealed and the entire product is painted in one continuous coat to prevent corrosion.
