Wood Characteristics: The wood material used for manufacturing will be 1st‑class Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm, in accordance with the project specifications. The wood material must meet the following criteria: - Knots: Each metre may contain up to four sound knots. The diameter of any knot shall not exceed one‑quarter of the overall piece width. No rot, split, partially cracked, or fallen knots will be present. - Cracks: No ring (circumferential) cracks are allowed. Fine hairline cracks up to 1–2 mm (0-0.1 in) may be present. Pressure‑treated (emprenye) specifications may allow acceptable axial and longitudinal cracks, provided they remain within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: At most one resin pocket per metre, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No leaking or sucking resin, no inner shell, no rot cavities, and no insect holes are permitted. Manufacturing defects must be absent; only deviations within the specified tolerances are acceptable. - Bending: Deflection shall not exceed 1/50 of the member length. Impact marks shall not exceed 1/100 of the member width. - Twisting: Twist shall not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per metre of length. - Edge bending: Edge deflection will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth and free of splinters. Wood Carriers: Support legs will be made from pine lumber measuring at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped special knives and bearing a decorative motif. Seating Unit: The seating portion measures 30 cm (11.8 in) wide, 140 cm (55.1 in) long, and 45 cm (17.7 in) high. Its supporting members are made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped knives and bearing a decorative motif. The seat will be assembled with three pieces of pine lumber (minimum 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in)), and the backrest with two pieces of the same size, fastened to the supporting wood using special galvanized screws. Table: The table top measures 63 × 140 cm (24.8 x 55.1 in) and is made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), pressure‑treated, cut with diamond‑tipped knives and featuring an oval decorative motif. The table legs are 75 cm (29.5 in) high, constructed from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), also cut with diamond‑tipped knives and bearing the same motif. All components are pressure‑treated for durability.
