It is semi‑permeable, easily processed, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, which makes it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While characteristics vary by type, overall it provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, moderate mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, guardrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product’s wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) in areas subjected to pressure or friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for components that are not pressure‑exposed, such as barriers and shade structures. Material distribution must be uniform, and thickness tolerances are ±5%. Carrier Construction The carrier construction consists of cold‑formed steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), conforming to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards. Tubes are welded by high‑frequency welding within the specified dimensional tolerances and are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint applied by sandblasting the metal surfaces. Electrostatic Powder Paint Process All metal parts are first sandblasted to remove oil, grease, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine‑ball coating material is sprayed with compressed air to open micro‑pores and clean the metal. After sandblasting, parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequent cleaning includes a 10‑minute dip in a 70 °C 5% degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute immersion in a 50 °C 1% iron bath, rinsing, and drying. Finally, the metal components are powder‑coated for outdoor durability and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. All welds are protected by painting the entire assembly after welding to prevent corrosion.
