It is a semi‑permeable, flexible, and highly durable polymer offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical characteristics, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas subject to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for components used only as barriers or shades. Material distribution must be uniform, with a thickness tolerance of ±5%. Carrier Construction: The carrier structure consists of steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a wall thickness of at least 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, and welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes are sandblasted and coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. Electrostatic Powder Paint Process: All metal parts are degreased, cleaned, and sandblasted to create a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine steel shot is sprayed with compressed air to open pores and remove oil, rust, and contaminants. After coating with polyester‑based electrostatic paint, parts are cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, metal components undergo a 10‑minute dip in a 70 °C, 5% concentration oil‑removal bath, then a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C, 1% concentration iron bath, rinse, and drying. Finally, the entire product is painted as a single piece to prevent weld corrosion, using durable polyester powder paint cured at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes.
