It is a semi‑permeable, softening, highly durable polymer that is inexpensive and highly resistant, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene density and chemical properties determine its classification into different categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary by grade, it generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and superior chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used for slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch dyes used for colouring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shading elements not subjected to load. Thickness tolerance is ±5 %. CARRIER CONSTRUCTION The carrier construction consists of steel tubes with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes are painted by sandblasting and then coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. ELECTROSTATIC POWDER COATING All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. After cleaning, the parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, metal components undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % degreasing bath, then a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % phosphating bath, rinsing, and drying. Finally, the entire assembly is powder‑coated and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Welds are fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
