It is a semi‑permeable, flexible, and highly durable polymer. Because of its low cost and high resistance, it is widely favored in industry. Polyethylene is classified into various categories based on density and chemical properties. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Regardless of type, it generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch pigments used for colouring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts subjected to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barrier and shade components. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Product wall thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5%. Carrier Construction The carrier construction consists of round steel tubes formed by cold drawing according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in). Tubes are welded with high‑frequency welding and painted with polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating after sandblasting. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are first sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine steel shot is then blasted to open pores. After cleaning, the parts are dipped in a 70 °C bath with 5% degreasing solution for 10 minutes, followed by a 50 °C hot‑dip tin bath (1% concentration) for 15 minutes. The parts are rinsed, dried, and coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder. They are then cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. After welding, the entire assembly is painted as a single piece to prevent corrosion at weld joints.
