It is semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable while offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical characteristics, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by grade, common traits include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch pigments with a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher are required. Minimum wall thickness for load‑bearing parts is 6 mm (0.2 in); for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shade structures, 4 mm (0.2 in) is sufficient. Thickness tolerance is ±5 %. Load‑Bearing Construction Steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in) are cold‑formed according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, welded by high‑frequency welding, and produced within the standard dimensional tolerances. The tubes are then sand‑blasted and powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. Electrostatic Powder Paint Process All metal components are sand‑blasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface that improves paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are propelled by compressed air to open micro‑pores and clean the metal surface. After sand‑blasting, the parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a furnace at 200‑220 °C for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, metal parts undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % oil‑removal bath, then a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % iron‑dip bath, subsequent rinsing, and drying. Finally, the entire assembly is painted in one continuous operation to prevent corrosion at weld seams.
