It is a semi‑permeable, softening, highly durable polymer with low cost and high resistance, making it widely preferred in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into various categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties differ by type, common features include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The wall thickness of the product must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) where the material is exposed to pressure or friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for components that are not subjected to pressure, such as barriers and shade structures. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. The product’s wall thickness and dimensional tolerance are ±5%. Carrier Construction The carrier construction consists of round steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), formed by cold drawing in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded by high‑frequency welding. The tubes are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint applied after sandblasting. Electrostatic Powder Paint All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine‑ball powder is sprayed with pressurized air to open pores and clean the metal surface. After coating with polyester‑based electrostatic paint, the parts are baked at 200‑220 °C for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, metal components are rinsed in a 70 °C, 5 % degreasing bath for 10 minutes, then immersed in a 50 °C, 1 % pickling bath for 15 minutes, rinsed again, and finally dried. The entire product is painted in one continuous coat to prevent corrosion at weld joints, using durable polyester‑based powder coating applied at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes.
