It is semi‑permeable, pliable and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene grades are classified by density and chemical properties. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure and branching. Regardless of grade, it exhibits good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used for slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch dyes used for colouring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The material thickness shall be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts exposed to load and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shading components. Thickness tolerance is ±5%. Carrier Construction: The carrier structure consists of circular‑section steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394, and welded by high‑frequency welding. The tubes are sandblasted and then powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal components are prepared by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt and rust, creating a surface that holds paint better. Fine steel shot is then sprayed with compressed air to open micro‑pores for better paint adhesion. After coating with polyester‑based electrostatic paint, the parts are baked at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. After painting, components undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % iron bath, rinsing, and drying. Finally, the outdoor‑exposed metal parts are baked again at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. All welds are fully painted to prevent corrosion.
