It is semi‑permeable, can be softened, and is highly durable. Its low cost and high resistance make it popular in industry. Depending on density and chemical properties, it is classified into several categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Although properties vary, it generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments with a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher are required. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components exposed to pressure or abrasion, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shade structures. Thickness tolerance is ±5%. Carrier Construction The load‑bearing structure consists of circular‑section steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes are sand‑blasted and then coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder finish. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are sand‑blasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine steel shot is then sprayed with compressed air to open micro‑pores. After cleaning, the parts receive a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating and are cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the components undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % iron pickling bath, rinsing, and drying. Finally, the entire assembled product is painted in one coat to prevent weld corrosion, with a final cure at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes.
