Polyethylene Products Low‑density linear polyethylene (LLDPE) is a thermoplastic used in a variety of products. It is semi‑permeable, easily softened, and highly durable. Its low cost and high resistance make it a preferred material in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into various categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While specific characteristics vary, general traits include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. The product’s wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components subjected to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shade structures. Material distribution should be uniform, providing consistent thickness. Dimensional tolerance for product thickness and measurements is ±5%. Carrier Construction The carrier structure consists of round‑section steel tubes manufactured to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards by cold forming with a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in) and a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in). Tubes are welded with high‑frequency welding and painted with polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating. The coating process includes sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. After painting, the parts are baked at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. Subsequent treatments involve a 10‑minute dip in a 70 °C, 5 % concentration degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C, 1 % concentration iron bath, rinsing, and drying. Finally, the metal components receive a durable polyester‑based electrostatic powder coat, cured in an oven at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes, ensuring full coverage and corrosion resistance.
