It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is favored in industry for its low cost and high resistance. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into various categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by type, general attributes include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. The product edge thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas subject to pressure and friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shade components not exposed to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform, and thickness tolerance is 5 %. Carrier Construction The carrier construction consists of steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded by high‑frequency welding. The tubes are painted by sandblasting followed by a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating. Electrostatic Powder Paint All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are sprayed with compressed air to open pores and clean the surface. After coating with polyester‑based electrostatic paint, the parts are cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. After fabrication, metal components undergo a 10‑minute degreasing bath at 70 °C with a 5 % solution, followed by a 15‑minute phosphating bath at 50 °C with a 1 % solution. They are then rinsed and dried. Finally, the parts receive a durable polyester‑based powder coating applied in a 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are fully powder‑coated after welding to prevent corrosion.
