It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is popular in industry due to its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene grades are classified based on density and chemical properties. Mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by grade, the material generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, stairs, guardrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas subjected to pressure and abrasion, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barrier and shading components. Material distribution should be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5%. CARRIER CONSTRUCTION The carrier structure consists of circular‑section steel tubes produced by cold forming according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in). Tubes are welded with high‑frequency welding and painted with polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating applied after sandblasting. ELECTROSTATIC POWDER COATING All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are sprayed with compressed air to further open pores before applying the coating. After powder coating, parts are cured in a furnace at 200 – 220 °C for 20 minutes. Following coating, metal components undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5% concentration degreasing bath, then a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1% concentration iron bath, rinsing, and drying. Finally, the entire product is uniformly painted with a durable polyester‑based powder coating in a 180 – 200 °C furnace for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are fully covered to prevent corrosion.
