It is semi‑permeable, flexible, and highly durable while offering low cost and high resistance, making it favored in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, it is categorized into various grades. Mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by grade, the material generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, guardrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring must have a lightfastness rating of six or higher. The material thickness should be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts subject to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shade elements. Thickness tolerance is ±5%. Carrier Construction: The supporting structure is made from cold‑formed round steel tubes with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), conforming to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, and DIN 2394 standards. Tubes are welded by high‑frequency welding within the standard tolerance ranges. After welding, the tubes are sandblasted and coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal components are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine metal beads are sprayed with compressed air to open micro‑pores, then the parts are pre‑treated in a 70 °C, 5 % alkaline bath for 10 minutes, followed by a 50 °C, 1 % acidic dip for 15 minutes. After rinsing and drying, the components are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Final welding seams are fully coated to prevent corrosion.
