It is semi‑permeable, flexible, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene is classified by density and chemical properties. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching. Although characteristics vary by type, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used for slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch paint used for coloring must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas exposed to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier or shading items not subjected to pressure. Thickness tolerance is ±5 %. Carrier Construction The carrier structure consists of circular‑section steel tubes manufactured to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, cold‑formed with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), and welded by high‑frequency welding. The tubes are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint applied after sandblasting. Electrostatic Powder Paint All metal components are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a profile for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are sprayed with compressed air to open micro‑pores and clean the surface. After sandblasting, components receive a polyester‑based electrostatic coating and are baked at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. Subsequently, parts undergo a 10‑minute degreasing bath at 70 °C (5 % concentration) followed by a 15‑minute phosphating bath at 50 °C (1 % concentration). After rinsing and drying, the components are powder‑coated and cured in a 180–200 °C oven for 20–30 minutes. Welded joints are fully painted to prevent corrosion.
