It is semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. General characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, ladders, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. The product edge thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier or shade components not subjected to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform, and thickness tolerance is 5%. Carrier Construction The carrier structure is made of cold‑formed steel tubes with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), complying with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards. Tubes are welded by high‑frequency welding and painted with polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating after sandblasting. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. The coating process includes applying a fine powder, curing it in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes, followed by a degreasing bath at 70 °C for 10 minutes, a phosphating bath at 50 °C for 15 minutes, rinsing, drying, and a final curing in a 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are completely coated after welding to prevent corrosion.
