It is a semi‑permeable, softening and highly durable polymer that is favored in industry for its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene is classified into various categories based on density and chemical properties. Its mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. While properties vary by grade, the material generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used to tint polyethylene must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. The minimum edge thickness of the product must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components subjected to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shading items not exposed to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Product edge thicknesses and dimensional tolerances are ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal components are prepared for painting by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface that improves paint adhesion. A fine bead material, packed in a pressure‑resistant cabin, is sprayed with compressed air to open pores and clean the metal surface of oil, rust, and contaminants. After fabrication, all metal parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and then baked in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the components undergo a 10‑minute wash in a 70 °C bath with 5% degreasing solution, followed by a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C bath with 1% iron bath solution. After thorough rinsing and drying, the parts are again coated with a durable polyester‑based powder suitable for outdoor use and baked at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. Welded joints are fully protected by painting the entire assembly after welding to prevent corrosion.
