It is a semi‑transparent, flexible, and highly durable polymer that is inexpensive and offers high resistance, making it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. While characteristics vary by type, general attributes include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used in the production of slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product’s wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas subject to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shade elements not exposed to pressure. Material distribution should be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Thickness tolerances are ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are first cleaned by abrasive blasting to remove oils, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine metal beads are then spray‑charged with compressed air to open additional pores and eliminate contaminants. After manufacturing, metal components are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and baked in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, components undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % iron bath. After rinsing and drying, the parts receive a durable polyester‑based outdoor powder coating applied in a 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes. Welded joints are fully masked and coated after welding to prevent corrosion.
