It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is favored in industry for its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene is classified based on density and chemical properties. Its mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary by grade, general traits include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, stairs, guardrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch pigments used for colouring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product’s wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts subject to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for components used solely as barriers or shades that are not pressure‑exposed. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Thickness tolerances and dimensional deviations are limited to 5 %. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts will be sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface that improves paint adhesion. Fine steel beads will be propelled with compressed air to open additional pores and eliminate contaminants before coating. After manufacturing, metal components will be covered with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coat and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following production, parts will undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % oil‑removal bath, then a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % iron‑salt bath, with subsequent rinsing and drying. Finally, the entire assembly will be powder‑coated with a durable polyester‑based outdoor finish and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. All welds will be fully coated after welding to prevent corrosion.
