It is a semi‑permeable, softening, highly durable polymer that is cost‑effective and offers high resistance, making it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary by type, general characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used for slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a Lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for items subjected to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for components used only as barriers or shades. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Wall thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5%. Carrier Construction The carrier will consist of circular‑section steel tubes fabricated according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, cold‑formed with a minimum 2 mm (0.1 in) wall thickness and a minimum 114 mm (4.5 in) diameter, and welded by high‑frequency welding within the standard tolerance ranges. These tubes will be powder‑coated in an electrostatic powder‑based polyester finish. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts will be prepared by shot blasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel ball material inside a pressure‑resistant cabinet will be sprayed with compressed air to open pores and clean the metal surface. After fabrication, metal components will be coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. After fabrication, metal parts will undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % concentration oil‑removal bath, followed by a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % concentration iron bath. They will then be rinsed, dried, and finally powder‑coated with a durable polyester finish and cured at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams will be fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
