It is semi‑permeable, soft‑moldable and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure and branching type. While properties vary, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used for slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch pigments used for colouring polyethylene must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for items subjected to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier or shade components not exposed to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform, and wall thickness tolerance is ±5%. Carrier Construction A minimum 114 mm (4.5 in) diameter, minimum 2 mm (0.1 in) wall thickness steel tube, cold‑formed in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394, and welded by high‑frequency welding, will be used. The tubes will be sand‑blasted and then coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts will be blasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot will be sprayed with compressed air to create the necessary texture and clean the metal. After fabrication, parts will be coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, parts will undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % concentration degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % concentration iron bath, rinsing, and drying. Finally, the entire assembly will be powder‑coated with a weather‑resistant polyester formulation and cured at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams will be fully masked and painted to prevent corrosion.
