It is a semi‑transparent, flexible and highly durable polymer with low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene is categorized based on density and chemical properties. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure and branching type. Although properties vary by grade, it generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, stairs, guards, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The material wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for components not subjected to pressure, such as barriers and shading structures. The material must be uniformly distributed to achieve consistent thickness. Dimensional tolerance is ±5%. Carrier Construction Steel tubes with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in) are cold‑formed in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, welded by high‑frequency welding, and manufactured within the standard tolerance, size and cross‑section ranges. The carrier construction is painted by sandblasting followed by application of a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine‑ball coating material is sprayed with compressed air to open pores and remove contaminants. After fabrication, metal components are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, they undergo a 10‑minute 70 °C dip in a 5 % oil removal bath, followed by a 15‑minute 50 °C dip in a 1 % iron bath, rinse, and drying. Finally, the parts are coated with durable polyester‑based powder paint in outdoor conditions and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
