It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that offers low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene is classified by density and chemical characteristics, with mechanical properties depending on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. Though properties vary, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The material’s edge thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) where it is subject to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers or shading components. The material must be evenly distributed to achieve uniform thickness. Edge thicknesses and dimensional tolerances are ±5 %. Carrier Construction The carrier construction consists of cold‑formed steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), compliant with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, and DIN 2394 standards. These tubes are welded by high‑frequency welding and produced within the dimensional and sectional tolerances specified by the standards. After sandblasting, the tubes are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint and baked. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are first sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface that improves paint adhesion. A fine‑ball material under pressurized air is sprayed to open pores and clean the metal surface. After fabrication, the parts are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the components undergo a 10‑minute dip in a 70 °C, 5 % degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C, 1 % iron bath. After rinsing and drying, the parts receive a final electrostatic polyester powder coating, cured at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. All welds are fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
